I liked what you said but I was thinking of a different scenario - actually having a person, in my case, my boss, who is constantly discouraging to me. If I say something went well, he says it wasn't so important. If I have an idea, he says we don't need it or can't afford it. If I say something could be cool, he says focus on something else. It's almost like it doesn't matter what I say, he will say the opposite just to make me less motivated, less happy, less a part of the team. I try to carry on as if I hadn't heard his remarks, but it's hard. Discouraging.

I'm also doing the same thing at work, and am still trying to figure out what tools to use based on what we have access to at my organization. I'll be going down the rabbit hole of your videos!!!
